This Thursday, we will be voting for next year’s group of Junior Officers for our executive board. The five rising juniors you select will take up a position of leadership and service to help shape the University Chorale into the talented choir and welcoming family we know it to be for the next 2 years. This year, we have nine passionate candidates who wish to take up this responsibility.

Voting will take place after rehearsal at about 5:30 pm on Thursday, March 17th. Please ensure that you come to the elections (even if you cannot be at rehearsal) as these elections are pivotally important to how the chorale will run in years ahead, and we want everybody’s input. Really take the time to consider all candidates and elect the people you truly feel will do the best job running the chorale. Until then, each of the candidates has prepared a platform to tell you more about themselves and why they are running, which are posted below. Best of luck to all the candidates!

Thank you to all of the singers that auditioned for the University Chorale! All of you have such incredible voices, and our decision process was very difficult. If you are not on the list, we encourage you to audition again next semester! With that, we would like to welcome the new members of the University Chorale of Boston College:

For all of our new members, rehearsals start for you all next week, on Monday, January 24th at 4:30 pm for Sopranos and Altos, Tuesday, January 25th at 4:30 pm for Tenors and Basses, and Thursday, January 27th at 4:30 pm for the full ensemble. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the University Chorale of Boston College.  We are thrilled that you want to become a part of our organization and we can’t wait to hear you sing.  Despite the many challenges that the past few years has thrown at us, the University Chorale is beyond excited to have you join us for some wonderful in-person singing! When you audition for the Chorale, you are auditioning for a group of singers who care deeply about their instrument, the mission to spread music, and each other.

We will be holding auditions from Tuesday, January 17th to Thursday, January 20th from 2pm to 4pm each day.
