Another weekend has come and gone. We are two days closer to Vienna and Budapest. This image is of the Hungarian Parliament building, completed in 1905 and currently residing Parliament. Built as a symbol of democracy, this ornate building rises from the River Danube as a monument of freedom. An awe inspiring building from a basic online picture, I can only imagine what it will look like in real life. We’ll find out soon enough..

There are 27 mere days left until the University Chorale of Boston College embarks on our journey to Vienna and Budapest. It still seems like a long way away especially on such a snowy bleak February day, but before you know it, we’ll be performing in beautiful churches, exploring renowned historical sites, and creating memories that will last a life time. So get your sleep, do your homework, listen to King Malley and above all else gear up because in 27 days, you’ll be on the roller coaster of a lifetime.

Before we get to the results, we wanted to say thank you to everyone who auditioned this week!  We were extremely pleased with the turnout for our spring auditions. Unfortunately, because of the quantity of singers we received this year, we had to be very selective in our audition process. If your name does not appear on the list below, we fully encourage you to audition in the future.

The names of those accepted are below. We are so happy to welcome you all to the Chorale family! Our first rehearsal is THIS AFTERNOON, January 21st at 4:30 pm in Lyons 423, and we can’t wait to see you.

The University Chorale’s Spring Auditions are January 19th, 20th, and 21st from 2-4 pm in Lyons 426! There is NO PREPARATION necessary, and no prior singing experience required! Contact malleya@bc.edu with questions.
