In addition to the larger Chorale, the Chamber Singers are a subset of the University Chorale of Boston College. The Chamber Singers perform music that is particularly appropriate for a smaller vocal ensemble, having recently performed works from Grieg to Runestad, among other composers. The number of Chamber Singers varies from year to year, typically between 25 and 40 singers. Rehearsals are on Friday afternoons from 3-4:30pm in Stokes S195.
If you are interested in auditioning for the Chamber Singers in addition to the Chorale, you may audition during your audition. Selected singers will be invited to participate in a rehearsal during the second week of classes. The first Chamber rehearsal will be on Friday, August 29.
